FLY91, the freshest addition to India's aviation landscape, embarked on its maiden commercial journey on March 18. Departing from Goa's Manohar International Airport, the inaugural flight took off towards Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport at 07:55 am, marking the beginning of an extensive network aimed at bridging key cities across the nation.

In a bid to make flying affordable for all, FLY91 introduced a special inaugural fare of just INR 1,991 (all-inclusive), applicable to all routes within its network. The airline is helmed by Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Manoj Chacko.

The launch witnessed not just one but two inaugural flights, as FLY91 also embarked on its journey from Bengaluru to Sindhudurg. With a strategic vision, the airline initially focuses on connecting Goa, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Sindhudurg, with plans to expand to Agatti, Jalgaon, and Pune by April.

Operating on a schedule designed for convenience, FLY91 ensures regular flights between its key destinations. Passengers can expect connectivity between Goa and Bengaluru every Monday, Friday, and Saturday, along with a similar frequency between Bengaluru and Sindhudurg. Moreover, flights between Goa and Hyderabad, as well as Sindhudurg and Hyderabad, will operate twice a week.

With a fleet comprising two ATR 72-600 aircraft and plans to welcome four more in the upcoming months, FLY91 plans to establish a robust presence nationwide. Leveraging the government's Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) UDAN, the airline has secured routes encompassing not only business hubs but also leisure destinations like Goa, Hyderabad, and Pune, besides the scenic locales of Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Nanded, and Agatti.
