After the successful commencement of a direct flight service between Kuala Lumpur and Amritsar on November 8, Malaysia Airlines has added another new launch to its list. A new direct flight between Trivandrum and Kuala Lumpur was launched on November 10.

The airline marked the inaugural flight, MH0116, with a warm reception at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (TRV) on November 10, complete with a water salute. The flight departed at 12:01 am, signalling the commencement of this new route.

Connecting Eight Key Hubs

This initiative follows the successful launch of direct flights between Kuala Lumpur and Amritsar on November 8. With the introduction of the Trivandrum route, Malaysia Airlines became the first full-service premium carrier to connect South Asia and the Pacific with Amritsar and Trivandrum. The airline's Indian network now spans eight key hubs, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Amritsar.
