The World Book Fair is back. Organised by the National Book Trust of India, the book fair is a significant event in Delhi, bringing book lovers from different parts of the country to celebrate their love for books.

The cultural programs at the fair include performances, workshops, and activities that celebrate literature and the written word, adding a dynamic and immersive dimension to the event. Tickets

For ticket purchase:

  • Online: Tickets can be acquired through the National Book Trust (NBT) official website at https://www.nbtindia.gov.in/.

  • Offline: Alternatively, tickets are available at the venue during the fair days, with counters set up at designated entry points.

Children's entry is for INR 10, while adults will have to pay INR 20. Admission is free for students in school uniform, students on educational trips, individuals with disabilities, and senior citizens.

Please note that purchasing the tickets online is advisable to avoid entry queues.

Getting There

The nearest metro station, Pragati Maidan on the Blue Line, allows for easy commuting, and from there, attendees can either walk or use an auto-rickshaw to reach the destination. Numerous buses also connect to Pragati Maidan from different parts of Delhi, and specific routes and timings can be checked on the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) website or app. Parking facilities are available within the Pragati Maidan complex for those opting to drive.
