India's first Dinosaur Museum

India is home to several sites where you can see fossils of real dinosaurs. You can visit various fossil parks, such as the Ghugwa Fossil Park in Madhya Pradesh, which houses relics up to 65 million years old. Additionally, there are several areas in the country where dinosaur fossils have been discovered. One notable location is Gujarat's Raiyoli village, home to India's largest dinosaur museum and fossil park. This village, situated in the Balasinor town of Mahisagar district, is known to be the world's third most extensive dinosaur fossil site and the second largest dinosaur hatchery, where about 10,000 dinosaur eggs have been found. The government is also planning a dinosaur fossil geo-park in the Narmada River valley in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Fossilised dinosaur eggs have been discovered in the valley, and the latest addition, in the Dhar district of the valley, is a clutch of 92 nesting sites containing 256 fossilised eggs. These eggs belong to titanosaurs, a group of giant, herbivorous dinosaurs.

The Information

The park is open from Monday to Friday, from 10 AM to 9 PM. On weekends, it's open from 9 AM to 9 PM. Admission is INR 120 for adults and INR 50 for children under 12 years.
