Spanning 10 days, from February 18 to February 27, 2024, the Taj Mahotsav aims to spotlight and bolster the talents of local artists, craftsmen, culinary experts, and performers from Uttar Pradesh. The venue for this cultural extravaganza is Shilpgram in Agra, attracting numerous artisans from across India. The inaugural Taj Mahotsav took place in 1992, and the upcoming event marks its impressive 32nd edition

This festival, orchestrated by the Department of Tourism, features an annual Mughal-style procession and a plethora of folk performances. Drawing inspiration from the Mughal era of the 18th and 19th centuries in Uttar Pradesh, the Taj Mahotsav brings together scores of local artisans from diverse regions of India.
