After a hiatus of three years, the highly anticipated Delhi Theatre Festival, the best of drama, is set to enter the national capital's theatre scene again, marking its fourth edition. This year's festival has an amazing line-up that lives up to its past successes.
The Drama Details
Scheduled over three consecutive days, the Delhi Theatre Festival 2023 is set to take place between August 4 to August 6. As of now, Siri Fort Auditorium, Kamani Auditorium, OP Jindal Auditorium in New Delhi and the Orana Conventions in Gurugram have been chosen as the host venues for this theatrical festival.
With a line-up of seven homegrown plays to be performed over three days, theatre enthusiasts can expect an evening of performances by critically acclaimed actors on the stage. Eminent names such as Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur, Piyush Mishra, Lillete Dubey, Shekhar Suman, Vinay Pathak, Shabana Azmi, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, and Kanwaljit Singh are part of this festival. The line-up of performances comprises plays including "Ismat Apa Ke Naam," "Dopehri," "Vodka & No Tonic," "Ballimaaraan," "Ek Haan," "Nothing Like Lear," and "Kaifi Aur Main."
