Ever dreamt of visiting an edible cottage Reminds you of Hansel and Gretel doesn't itBut this one doesn't have any bad vibes. It's more similar to the ones we grew up watching in our favorite Charlie&rsquos Chocolate Factory and cartoon shows.

The Sea Island Resort located on the Georgian coast has made every childhood dream come true this Christmas season. Their new gingerbread house, the Sea Island Sweet Traditions Cottage, is handmade by the confectioners at the Sea Island Bake Shop.

In order to build the massive walk-in cake house, the island bakery has used 1,840 pounds of gingerbread and 820 pounds of royal icing.

Moreover, to ensure a memorable experience for tourists, the resort has arranged for private decorating tours that will allow children to decorate their own edible house with candy canes, gumdrops, and other festive sweets.

Adults, who have a sweet tooth, and wish to ditch on their diets this Christmas, can savour cakes and treats from the gingerbread cottage&rsquos window.

The walk-in cake house also exhibits decorations related to Sea Island&rsquos popular cultural activities such as bagpiping, sea turtle nesting, sailing, golf, etc.

The story of Sea Island Resort&rsquos Christmas celebrations does not stop there. The resort has been planning several new upgrades this year.

Apart from the edible cottage, tourists will also be offered opportunities to become a part of storytime with Santa&rsquos Elves in the clubroom, Reindog Parade at the Beach Club, ornament decorating classes, Children&rsquos Christmas party at the beach club, and much more.
