It seems like the Man vs Wild episode featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the host Bear Grylls, is influencing India&rsquos efforts towards tourism in unexpected ways. Earlier this week, Incredible India tourism campaign changed their theme to wildlife for two months, taking a cue from the episode. The episode not only featured the duo discussing various issues but also saw them promote wildlife and environmental conservation.

Now, Uttarakhand Tourism has decided to develop the trail travelled by PM Modi and host Bear Grylls in the episode, which aired on August 12. In the show, we see the two travel approximately 8 km across Jim Corbett National Park, where the entirety of the episode was shot. Nature, life and the country were topics discussed throughout the trek. This trail will now be marketed as Modi Trail, a separate focus point than tourism at the national park itself.

According to a Times of India report, Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj recently announced this development as a result of the incredible response that the episode received. He also added that according to him, PM Modi&rsquos enthusiasm for the wild will attract other visitors to this trail. He said that the visitors of the park will be excited to view the Modi trail and this will make the popular, even more than it is already for its tigers.
