Uttarakhand Lifts Travel Restrictions

As part of Unlock 4, Uttarakhand lifts all travel bans and restrictions

Unlock 4 has considerably opened up large sectors and all inter and intrastate travel and the state of Uttarakhand is no exception. The state has lifted all travel restrictions pertaining to special permits, COVID-19 negative certificates, and e-permits for inter-state travellers.
Any asymptomatic traveller, travelling for less than seven days due to exam, business, or personal distress can continue to conduct their business, but need to monitor their health regularly and must contact local authorities in cases of any symptoms.

Those already on the go for more than seven days have to adhere to a 10 day home quarantine rule after returning.

Though a seven day quarantine rule continue to remain for all inbound visitors from high COVID-19 infected cities as well as for foreign travellers. However exceptions are granted for those who have received a negative test result not more than 96 hours prior to arriving to Uttarakhand. Now, all that needs to be done is to register yourself on Dehradun Smart City Limited website before travel.

All rules and norms related to minimum days of stay in the state also stands slashed now. Previously one had to book a minimum of seven day staying period in Uttarakhand which was then reduced to two.
