Indoor spaces like cinema halls, museums, concert halls, night clubs, art galleries, and theatres have been especially affected in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Access to these sites was banned in order to contain the pandemic.
However, people acoss the world have been coming up with unique ideas to make such spaces open again.
As the pandemic is not over yet, such indoor spaces are making efforts to shift outdoors so that the norms of social distancing can be followed easily.
A new, creative meaning is being given to outdoor spaces through several interesting projects and events. One such was &ldquoUnreal City&rdquo. This was an augmented reality exhibition was organised in London to provide a platform for people to witness art and culture closely, as it is difficult for them to visit these places physically.
This was London&rsquos first ever group augmented reality exhibition with artists from all over the world participating, showcasing 36 virtual sculptures.
The exhibition was held along the River Thames, between Waterloo Bridge and Millennium Bridge.
People had to download an app called Acute Art which was especially designed for this exhibition via which they could take a walking tour of the exhibition virtually with the help of an interactive map.
