Udaipur, the crown jewel of Rajasthan has never failed to surprise us. The famed lakes and palaces of the city have made it a premiere tourist destination. Adding another feather to its cap is the latest announcement by IHCL. The hospitality arm of Tata Group, IHCL (Indian Hotels Company Ltd) has acquired Udaipur&rsquos Fateh Prakash Palace, renaming it as Taj Fateh Prakash Palace, thereby expanding its portfolio of authentic palaces.

The property is located within the historic City Palace on the shores of the tranquil Lake Pichola and is surrounded by the Aravalli hills, Jagmandir Island and the iconic Taj Lake Palace.
