Engage with India's Cultural Heritage with SPIC MACAY's Anubhav Series

If you spend a considerable time of your day marvelling over the ragas of Indian classical music, the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY) has something in store for you. 

During the current COVID-19 crisis, SPIC MACAY is bringing the living legends of classical music, dance, and other folk art forms right at home through its virtual special series, Anubhav. With an objective to provide holistic exposure of our rich cultural heritage online, the series will be conducted online from June 1st to 7th and will be live streamed on their Youtube Channel.

The series has various activities in line, such as classical music and dance concerts, workshops, theatre, cinema classics, folks arts and crafts and environmental interactions amongst others. 

Renowned names such as Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Shyam Benegal, Anna Hazare, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Ustad Wasifuddin Dagar, Aruna Mohanty among others will be a part of the week-long programme. On its closing night, the online event will also stream an overnight concert beginning at 8pm on June 6 with Pt Hariprasad Chaurasia&rsquos flute performance and end at 6am on June 7 with Ustad Wasifuddin Dagar&rsquos performance.
