It&rsquos been clear for quite some time now that the future of travel lies in space. With space tourism still a distant reality, some nerd fantasies might just be coming to life. The Gateway Foundation has released designs for its first space hotel and it is everything we dreamed of...or close to it, at least. The Von Braun Space Station will not be a clinical, alien set-up but warm and cosy instead. Albeit, with an otherworldy view. On the outside, it will have a rotating wheel with modules but inside, artificial gravity plans to hold up restaurants, caf&eacutes and plenty of recreational activities to keep guests occupied. The hotel is expected to be complete by 2025 and operational for tourists in another two years.
