Moving into the Indian market, Singapore&rsquos award-winning bakery chain BreadTalk has opened its doors in New Delhi. BreadTalk has around 900 existing stores in Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, the Middle East and other Asian countries. BreadTalk, a bakery and cafe, offers fresh bread and cakes, with a philosophy to break the monotony and offer authentic, international flavours.

Located in Saket&rsquos Select CITYWALK, the bakery-cafe is minimalistic but welcoming. Accessibility is a major selling point&mdashcustomers are encouraged to pick out their treats and get them billed themselves. An open kitchen forms the backdrop of the store with a display of herbs, ingredients, bakery tools and recipe books. An area is marked-off outside for seating, but like much of the store, it is quaint&mdashseating only ten.

The one thing you will find in plenty is the wide array goodies that customers can choose from. Ranging from sweet to savoury, their food has subtle flavours, quality ingredients and a palette that caters to different tastes. BreadTalk is bringing in their flagship products, like the feathery Japan Light Cheesecake, Chocolaty Messy Buns, &lsquoFlosss&rsquo Buns with a generous layer of chicken, cheese tarts, spongy dry cakes, and savoury loaves. With prices that don&rsquot pinch your pockets (Rs 400 for two excluding taxes) and the use of quality ingredients, BreadTalk is sure to become the new haunt for all bakery goods.
