Celebrated author and storyteller Ruskin Bond added a dash of special to this year&rsquos Christmas for his fans and admirers. In a video, shared by the author on his Instagram, he can be seen wishing everyone a merry Christmas.
The author who resides in Mussoorie, addressed the viewers, saying that though it would not be possible for him to go outside and share a view of Mussoorie, he is really looking forward to receiving postcards and letters from fans and admirers. The IGTV video has gone viral and fans can be seen enthusiastically wishing the author a merry Christmas in the comments section.
The author is very popular with young readers for stories like &lsquoThe Blue Umbrella&rsquo, &lsquoThe Black Cat&rsquo, &lsquoStories of Rusty&rsquo, etc. Several stories written by him have been successfully adapted to cinema, as well.  Not only has he won accolades like the Sahitya Academy Award, but has also massively contributed to the growth of children&rsquos literature in the country.
Ruskin Bond encouraged fans to write and send their wishlist, not necessarily about presents they&rsquod like to receive from Santa, but also something they would like to see in the coming year. The author also added, that he always looks forward with pleasure, to hear from his fans.
