Pet Talks Know the Latest Trends in Pet-friendly Travel

A one-day symposium aims to bring pet parents and pet-related businesses under one roof

As every pet parent knows, it is not easy to travel with pets. From transportation to finding a pet-friendly hotel to handling emergency situations during the trip, you are likely to face myriad problems. Still no true pet parent wants to leave their wards at home or in foster care while they take a vacation.

So if you are keen to know what the latest trends are in the pet industry as well as discuss how to make your pet more travel-fit, you may find the one-day symposium Pet Talks useful.

IHCL SeleQtions, in association with Mars Pet Care, will be hosting this symposium to help &lsquopatrons decode the pet language&rsquo. The event will be held at three of IHCL SeleQtions&rsquo pet-friendly properties -- President, Mumbai, Blue Diamond, Pune, and Ambassador, Delhi.

All hotels in the IHCL SeleQtions portfolio are pet-friendly.

The opening event will be held at President, Mumbai, on October 30.

The business event (on invitation only) will consist of a mix of plenary and panel sessions where participants will focus on the latest trends in the pet industry. Panelists include Shirin Merchant - Canine Behaviourist and Trainer, Manoj Dhanwani &ndash Founder, Snell Business Collective, Amirali Charania &ndash owner of Kennel and Shakehands, and others.

The Pet Parent event (ticketed entry) will consist of interactive sessions with Malaika Fernandes - Dog Behavior Consultant & Animal Communicator at Princely Paws among others.

The pets will also have their own share of fun through events such as agility training, a fashion show, temptation alley, etc.
