OT Staff

The government of Peru has announced easing of travel restrictions, including lifting mandatory quarantine. However, flights coming from Brazil, and those which take more than eight hours, still remain suspended.

Requirements for international tourists will be the same as applicable up to December 2020 -&nbspall passengers need to carry a negative PCR test report. Also, an antigen test has to be taken upon arrival at Jorge Ch&aacutevez International Airport.

For domestic flights, tests are not needed&nbspbut tourists have to sign an affidavit stating they do not have any COVID-19 symptoms.

These new measures are aimed at restarting the tourism industry which is an important contributor of Peru's economy.
