Taking this philosophy forward, the Neev Literature Festival is back with their third edition in Bengaluru on September 20th and 21st, 2019.
Ask any bibliophile and they&rsquoll confess that they have a love-hate relationship with books. There are books that get you so involved in the characters that you lose track of reality. And on the other hand there are books that are, well, for lack of a better word, terrible and drive you crazy. Your relationship with books might not have started in the quintessential way of &lsquolove at first sight&rsquo, but it&rsquos true love for sure Reading has not only proved to be a great way to improve vocabulary but also widens your horizons.
Keeping this in mind, the Neev Literature Festival aims to inculcate a love for literature among children of all ages and make reading a part of every home. This literature festival provides a platform for conversation between children, adults, authors, workshops, book launches, book exhibitions and various other events.
The Neev Book Award which was introduced last year will see exclusive workshops for parents and will include 4 distinct categories &ndash picture books, emerging readers, junior readers and young adults. This year&rsquos literature festival will play host to numerous Indian and International authors, illustrators and academicians like Devadutt Patnaik, Paro Anand, Nandana Dev Sen, Susan Perrow, David Melling to name a few.
