The American Kennel Clubs (AKC) Museum of the Dog is scheduled to be open in February in NYC

The month of February is bringing a lot of excitement for dog lovers. If you stay in New York or plan on travelling there then pay a visit to the new Museum of the Dog which opens on February 8. Hosting more than 180 artistries about dogs, this is the first time that the American Kennel Club (AKC) museum and AKC Collection are coming together. You can even spend time learning about AKC&rsquos 193 renowned breeds of dogs from their digital table known as &lsquoMeet the Breeds&rsquo. Fascinating digital exhibits along with the art works are also on the table.

Learn how to train your dog with a training session of a digital avatar and go around the museum exploring the exhibits. Download the museum&rsquos app to guide you through the compound and gather details about specific exhibits which interest you. Kids can wander around with their digital pet, &lsquoArty&rsquo from a customised app specially built for them. They can even indulge in a creative art session on the top floor where they can come up with their own masterpiece which would be put up on the community wall. The museum has a lot of exciting recreational schemes for every visitor. You can even check about the dog breed which matches the most with your face

The museum will not stay the same forever the first set of exhibits would be changed after six months of display and the next exhibit will feature the only works of female artists. Don't worry if you miss any display, you can easily discover them at the digital database of the museum. The museum will run from 10am to 5pm every day except for Mondays. The tickets would cost around 1000 INR for adults and around 360 INR for children below 12 years. You can walk in any time and learn more about the fluffy world.
