Now, You Can Order From Anywhere Before Your Flight From Mumbai

Mumbai&rsquos Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport will launch a food technology service in June which is sure to up the ante when it comes to services. In a first-of-its-kind passenger-centric technology, travellers will be able to pre-order their food and have it delivered or do a self-pick up as they approach the airport.

Curated by &lsquoGrabbnGo&rsquo, the technology will allow passengers to order ahead from one or multiple outlets hassle-free under single invoice and payment. Passengers at the airport can avail this service through the mobile application, scanning QR codes and kiosk setups at the airport beginning June 2019 from both terminals. This mobile application will be available to flyers on Android and iOS. Similarly, passengers can also avail food from these outlets by scanning the QR code available across locations inside the airport without downloading the app, through their scan to order services.

With this Order Ahead service, passengers will have the convenience of getting food of their choice delivered at the boarding gates, even at peak hours. Brands like KFC, Burger King and Subway are among the food suppliers who have signed up. Don&rsquot worry there are also health-conscious foods to choose from.

The application shows passengers food stores along the route from security check to the boarding gate, the orders are accepted through the Just in Time Order algorithm which ensures the travellers get fresh and hot food irrespective when ordered. And, it also shows special express pickup points where to but pick your food up from.
