Sin City is Back on the Map

Forced to shut down for the first time since the infamous JFK assassination episode in 1963, Las Vegas which halted all activities in March 2020 in lieu of the pandemic restrictions, is now back to operating in full swing, with more zest than ever.

Following the no mask policy for the fully vaccinated crowd, implemented in May, the recent developments around social distancing and controlled numbers has now ushered a normalcy the casino hub earnestly longed for.

Not just casinos, even theatres are now staging plays and have to their fortune been able to harbour full occupancy and tickets sold out for the coming weeks.

Those celebrated divers of Cirque du Soleil&rsquos &ldquoO&rdquo completed their first show in almost 16 months at the Bellagio, and it was astoundingly successful in checking waters for their successive acts.

Delving into the spirit of the Fourth of July, Las Vegas reinstated its liberty by doing away with masks and 100% occupancy. A listers like Bruno Mars and Miley Cyrus were on board with sold out stadiums to join in on the Independence Days celebrations, accentuating a sense of freedom now more than ever.

We hear that Miley Cyrus will be present for the inauguration of Resort World&rsquos new Ayu Dayclub, reportedly the most expensive resort ever developed in the city.

Although popular tractions like the Bacchanal Buffet at the Caesers Palace were slow in restoring full capacity services, casinos had already begun reopening in June 2020. However, visitor numbers were 70% off normal.

Cut to now, at Wynn Las Vegas, where 91 percent of employees are vaccinated,  and even those who haven&rsquot been vaccinated are allowed to go maskless at the pool.

Those annoying Plexiglass barriers have also been done away with. Along with casinos and theatres, a vast majority of popular restaurants have also reopened, although shortage of staff and the consequent delay in services may pose a hindrance.
