Singapore is often called the &lsquocity in the garden&rsquo since it seamlessly blends nature with the urbanscape. The place has now taken this concept to the heart of its airport. Jewel Changi Airport is opening its doors to travelers on April 17, 2019, and it is quite the spectacle.

Its central attraction is the Rain Vortex in the middle of the Shiseido Forest Valley. The Rain Vortex is considered the largest indoor waterfall in the world, reflecting sunlight during the day and putting on an ethereal light and sound show in the night. The Forest Valley, on the other hand, is an indoor sanctuary of sorts, with over 2,000 trees and 100,000 shrubs.

It allows travelers to explore idyllic landscapes and hike up to Canopy Park, another section that will open in mid-2019. The airport is also going to witness the debut of many international brands&mdashShake Shack, Burger & Lobster, Pokemon, and Laderac, among others, and also local brands that will be seen presenting themselves in a fresh, creative way.
