Singapore stands second with 189 countries along with South Korea, which&nbsphas moved up a rank. These are then followed by Germany and France in third with 188 destinations. With access to 187 destinations, Denmark, Finland, Italy and Sweden are in fourth place whereas Luxembourg and Spain and together placed in the fifth place. The UK, USA, Netherlands, Austria, Norway, Portugal have both dropped to the sixth place now and are tied with Switzerland with access to 185 countries visa-free.

In case you are wondering, visa-free entry means one can enter a country without a visa for a specified period. Visa-on-arrival means one can get the visa after you reach the destination. The Henley Passport Index is a ranking of all the passports of the world and gives a clear picture of the number of countries their holders can visit without a visa. By the way, India stands at 79 now with access to 61 countries in total and visa-free access to 8 countries--Indonesia, Bhutan, Fiji, Maldives, Mauritius, Nepal, Seychelles and Serbia.
