Spirituality is an essential part of Indian culture. The Indian railways in order to boost the Indian pilgrimage circuit launched the Shri Ramayana Express. After it&rsquos raving success in 2018, IRCTC is all set to relaunch the Shri Ramayana Express Yatra on November 3, 2019. The ministry of railways will relaunch two Ramayana circuit trains. &lsquoShri Ramayana Yatra&rsquo will depart from Jaipur via Delhi on November 3, 2019 while the other train &lsquoRamayana Express&rsquo will depart from Indore via Varanasi on November 18, 2019. The Yatra aims to take passengers across all the places that are said to be associated with the Hindu deity Rama. This Ramayana tour is part of the Bharat Darshan scheme initiated by IRCTC which covers various pilgrim centres like Ayodhya, Varanasi, Nasik, Hampi and Rameshwaram
After departing from Jaipur, the train will have few boarding/ deboarding stops at Alwar, Rewari, Ghaziabad, Sadurjung, Bareily and Moradabad and then directly proceed to Ayodhya. The whole package will cost travellers INR 16, 065 which includes the train journey, vegetarian meals thrice a day, accommodation in Dharamshala and sightseeing . The return journey will begin on November 16, 2019 from Madurai and the train will reach Jaipur on November 19.
In addition to this travellers also have the option of a tour of Ramayana related places in Sri Lanka at an additional fare of INR 36, 950. The 5 nights and 6 days package will include 4 destinations - Kandy, Colombo, Nuwara Eliya and Negombo.
