Get Ready for these 2 Festivals at Disneyland in 2022

The two festivals did not take place previously owing to the pandemic

Over the past two years the pandemic has halted a whole lot of activities at our favourite places. And we have nothing but hope for a fresh start in 2022. And keeping this hope alive is Disneyland California which will be back with two of its most sought after festivals &mdash the Lunar New Year and the Food & Wine festival. The previous editions of these limited time period festivals were cancelled owing to covid. But now they will run through January until April in 2022. The Lunar New year celebrations will begin from January 21 and will run till February 13, while the Wine & Dine festival will begin from March 4 and and run till April 26, 2022.  

The Lunar New Year &mdash a celebration of Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cultures, and filled with multicultural performances, lip smacking food and celebratory merchandise &mdash will entail celebrating the year of the tiger. 

&lsquoAdding to the excitement of Lunar New Year, Raya from Walt Disney Animation Studios&rsquo film, &ldquoRaya and the Last Dragon&rdquo will be appearing for the very first time at Disneyland Resort during the celebration You&rsquoll be able to see Raya in a setting inspired by her native Kumandra, recreated in the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail,&rsquo read the release. Apart from this, four marketplaces featuring Asian cuisine will also be there, along with special Lunar New Year inspired culinary offerings. 

On the other hand, at the Food & Wine festival, enthusiast will be able to explore California&rsquos regions and neighbourhoods via food as well as entertainment. There will be offerings using every palate along with culinary demonstrations with local, celebrity and Disney chefs. Not just that there will also be seminars on wine, beer and mixology education and tasting.
