Every Day Is A Dogs Day Out At Indias First Canine Park

Hyderabad is the first city to get a pet park with its own dog pool, play area and even an amphitheatre

Who let the dogs out &nbspThe people of Hyderabad did, and it&rsquos all for a good reason. India&rsquos tech capital takes the lead again by being the first in the country to have a park especially made for dogs. 

Its launch was announced on the Twitter page of KT Rama Rao, the Municipal and Urban Administration minister in the Government of Telangana on September 9. As per the tweet, this is the first dog park to meet international standards for pet and pet parents and be certified by the Kennel Club of The park is the first of its kind developed for pets and pet parents in India. It is 1.3 acres in area and was earlier a dump yard which was converted into a park. 

As per reports by The News Minute, the park has a play area for dogs, an amphitheater, different enclosures for small and big dogs, and training and play equipment. There are even bone-shaped benches for owners to sit and rest on while their pets run amok. &nbspIn fact, there&rsquos even talk of their being a small pool for waterbaby dogs to enjoy a splash in.  

It is simply named &lsquoDog Park&rsquo and is located near Hotel Radisson in Gachibowli in Hyderabad. While most parks in India don a signboard saying &lsquoNo Pets&rsquo, this comes as a relief for pet owners who struggle to find space for their dogs to play, stretch and exercise.

&nbspIf that isn&rsquot a cause for celebration for pet owners and their pooches, then what is Although it isn&rsquot quite as exciting as the idea of a Hotel for Dogs (which dog-lover doesn&rsquot love the 2009 movie), we&rsquoll happily take what we get for now.

The Dog Park will be inaugurated next week.
