Etihad Airways last week announced a new round of its special flights. The new schedule has flights going to 14 destinations including flight services from Abu Dhabi to Amsterdam, Manila, and Zurich on specific dates.
According to the carrier, the services would give foreign nationals the opportunity to travel out of the country. The aim is also to carry cargo including pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
While most flights remain grounded owing to restrictions, Etihad Airways will be operating additional special passenger flights from Abu Dhabi to 14 destinations on its global network.
The flights can be booked through their website or their mobile application. The destinations include Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Chicago, Frankfurt, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, London Heathrow, Manila, Melbourne, Seoul Incheon, Singapore, Tokyo Narita, and Zurich.
According to the Etihad Airways&rsquo website, their flights are currently suspended &ldquoDuring this time we will only operate a small number of one-way repatriation flights departing from Abu Dhabi.&rdquo
Keeping in mind the current pandemic situation, the airline has introduced additional cleaning measures and made changes to their airport procedures, including closing some of their lounges.
