Here's some good news. UAE airlines Emirates has announced that they shall cover all COVID-19 and quarantine costs for customers. Anyone flying Emirates, irrespective of destination or class, will be covered for no added costs.
The announcement comes as a major step to boost traveller confidence. It is applicable to anyone taking any Emirates flight until October 31, with the first flight completed by October 30, 2020.
Medical expenses of up to EUR 150,000 and quarantine costs of EUR 100 per day for 14 days, should flyers be diagnosed with COVID-19 during their travel, will be provided and the offer is valid for a period of 30 days after travel.
This means that one can use this benefit even after they continue travelling after arriving at their Emirates destination.

We know people are yearning to fly as borders around the world gradually re-open, but they are seeking flexibility and assurances should something unforeseen happen during their travel,&rdquo in the press release by the company.
