The &lsquoDisney Enchantment&rsquo show could not be happening at a more opportune moment. Still wrapped in COVID-19 pandemic woes, the world surely is in need of some fun and magic, and that is exactly what Disney Enchantment plans to do.
Disney Enchantment debuts October 1 this year at Magic Kingdom Park as part of &lsquoThe World&rsquos Most Magical Celebration&rsquo.
Disney Enchantment will feature captivating Disney music, enhanced lighting, stunning fireworks and&mdashfor the first time&mdashimmersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom Park, the company announced recently. There will also be an emotional original song, entitled &ldquoYou Are the Magic,&rdquo sung by seven-time GRAMMY-winner Philip Lawrence. Throughout the show, stunning fireworks fill the sky, providing a great experience for guests throughout the park and neighbouring resort hotels, said Shawn Slater, Senior Communications Manager, Disney Live Entertainment.
Said Slater, &ldquoIn Disney Enchantment, we join dreamers like Tiana, Miguel, Rapunzel, and brothers Ian & Barley from &lsquoOnward&rsquo, and we set out on an incredible journey with adventurers such as Moana, Raya, and Judy Hopps. Joe Gardner from Disney and Pixar&rsquos &lsquoSoul&rsquo takes us into &lsquothe zone&rsquo, where we discover a whimsical world inspired by the style of legendary Disney artist Mary Blair and filled with beloved characters from classic stories like &lsquoBeauty and the Beast&rsquo and &lsquoAlice in Wonderland&rsquo to contemporary tales including &lsquoLuca&rsquo and &lsquoWreck-It Ralph&rsquo.&rdquo
The grand finale is marked with Tinker Bell taking flight, spreading shimmering gold pixie dust, symbolically empowering the world to believe in itself and the power of magic.
Walt Disney World has said that for its 50th Anniversary Celebration, it will have more such entertaining programmes coming up.
