OT Staff

Hyderabad&rsquos Hussain Sagar Lake, will soon have a new attraction to lure in more tourists in 2021. It is expected that by June 2021, two cruise boats, with an 80-seater capacity each, will add to the beauty of the lake. The cruise boats that are to be introduced will be high tech, eco-friendly cruises with zero emission.

These two-storied cruises will not only provide rides (along with the speed boats and regular boats), but will also be available for bookings, for parties and celebrations.

Meanwhile the Telangana government is also working on the launch of solar and electric boats in the region. With the pandemic hitting all tourist attractions, this will be an effort to breathe new life in the tourism activities, in the state.

Built by Quli Qutb Shah, Hyderabad&rsquos heart-shaped tourist attraction, the famous Hussain Sagar Lake dates back to the year 1563. Spread over approximately 5.7km, this is a popular tourist spot for boating.
