Located near Changi Airport, providing an integrated &lsquotest-stay-work-meet' experience for inbound business travellers, the new initiative diminishes the need of a 14-day quarantine upon arrival.

Guests and business travellers can conduct meetings in Singapore at facilities provided under the scheme but they should follow all safety protocols and work within the bubble along with daily covid testing. Currently there are 150 premium guest rooms and 40 meeting rooms available,  which is expected to harbour around 1,300 business travelers when the scheme is under full swing.

&ldquoWe aim to provide a stress-free shopping experience for our passengers,&rdquo shared the manager of Changi Airport's Shopping Concierge service. Connect@Changi guests can browse Changi's product range from the comfort of their room using the concierge service, and see the items up close via a WhatsApp video call. Guests can indulge in local and international cuisines from a selection of up to five restaurants and outlets at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport via Changi Eats which is the airport's food delivery service. At the same time, you can also shop at the duty-free selection via iShopChangi.com and collect your goods when you board your flight.

&ldquoWe worked closely with our partners to design a smooth and seamless flow for Connect@Changi travellers upon their arrival. With the support of the Immigrations & Checkpoints Authority, we are able to identify passengers travelling on this programme as they exit the immigration clearance area. This helps us to ensure that they are safely escorted and transported to the Connect@Changi facility after their Covid-19 test at the Changi Testing Facility&rdquo, explained Sim Peiwan, Sr Manager of Changi Airport Arrival Experience Team.

Developed by a Singapore consortium led by Temasek Holdings as a part of the Connect@Singapore initiative, Changi Airport has also enhanced the retail, food & beverage experience by introducing a range of dining and shopping choices.
