In an attempt to fill the void created by Jet airways in the aviation industry, British Airways plans to increase the frequency of the flights on the Mumbai-London route. The carrier plans to add four more flights to its existing schedule of 14 flights. They will now run 18 flights in a week from Mumbai to London.

The airline&rsquos existing operations include 49 flights a week from five cities in India. There is daily, double service from both Mumbai and Delhi and a daily service from Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. After this move comes in March 2020, British Airways&rsquo will operate 56 flights from India to the UK.

The increase comes after carrier Jet Airways suspended its operations (embed link) in the month of April, leaving scope for carrier services to be enhanced.
