Birdie from Gujarat

This rubber bird, which flaps its wings and also squeaks, is a perfect accessory for your vehicle

Though I hate those objects people hang from rear-view mirrors inside their cars, I like the ones put in to ward off the evil eye&mdashchilli-and-lemon-pierced-with-string routine to the old shoes hanging from the posteriors of trucks. Travelling through Gujarat, I saw this rubber bird fixed above the windshield of most autorickshaws. As the autos moved, the bird's wings flapped joyously. I started looking around for one desperately, but no success. And then I found this black-bird at a souvenir shop for Rs 50. I am no bird-watcher, and I wonder what bird it is. Oh, and it squeaks.
