The first flight took off from Indira Gandhi International Airport earlier today, marking the inauguration of the service. The company will also operate thrice-a-week Milan flights from Mumbai, starting December 14.  The continuously expanding airline will also provide travellers with connections to other major cities like New York, Miami, and other major places as well as domestic flights across Italy.

The introduction of this service denotes the company&rsquos plan to expand its connections in Asia. Air Italy promises unparalleled services to its customers with Italian and Indian Cuisines, in-flight entertainment and personal assistance from the staff. &nbspItaly being one of the prime European destinations, these flexible flight services will surely help them plan their vacations at any time of the year. Initially, four airlines provided direct services to Italy with only Air India offering flights to Milan from Kochi.
