And you can be part of this meal. Here's how

Bhavika Govil

Hear, hear, people of Delhi. Word on the street is that Chef Gaggan is soon going to be cooking up a (progressive Indian food) storm in the capital city. For the unacquainted, Gaggan is the popular restauranteur and chef of his eponymous 2 Michelin star restaurant in Bangkok. The restaurant has been the frontrunner of the list of Asia&rsquos 50 best restaurants for the past four years and was 5th on the list of World&rsquos 50 best restaurants in 2018. In other words, it&rsquos very exclusive.

And now one can eat his food right here in India&mdashfor only one night. The chef will be cooking a 15-course meal (paired with wine) for diners at ITC Maurya on Tuesday, January 29. While there is only one set menu, more than 60 per cent of the dishes served will be vegetarians, so non-meat eaters don&rsquot have to worry. There are two dinner timings for this 3-hour meal, one that starts at 630pm and the other slot begins at 930pm.

How much will this meal cost you Well, it will cause a significant dent&mdash@INR 25,000, to be exact. But it is a rare opportunity, especially since Gaggan announced that he would be shutting his restaurant in June 2020.

The seats are limited and are already booked out. But you can still be added to the waiting list.
