Travel photography has come a long way from ubiquitous landscapes of heritage monuments and greenery. Not only are they more visually complex, but they also portray a story. Our #OTHallOfFrame is often brimming with these pictures and there are some that must not go unnoticed. We found our 10 favourite images for February 2020

The beauty of a fishing port is often overpowered by the stench. However, Collins Christo Rajan beings alive the activity at Kasimedu fishing harbour in Chennai in this stunning capture. The pop of the salmon pink fish balances the colour of the frame skilfully.

One of the first settlements in Dharavi, Kumbharwada is a 100-year-old potter&rsquos community in Mumbai. Shadab Raza highlights the hard work behind the process with this image of a potter at work. 

This low-angle shot of a fisherman at Dhanushkodi, Tamil Nadu is one of the most visually-pleasing captures we have seen on our Instagram. The choice of black-and-white by Ahan Sabharwal as opposed to colour, emphasises the contour and light of the image. 

Anuj Yadav has certainly shone a new light on the routine of the daily commute. Who knew that the Delhi Metro could be so pleasant to look at The use of the light to produce a monochromatic splash of orange is very well thought out. 

South India is a rich abode of temples. Unlike many others, they flaunt unapologetically vibrant colours. This capture of the Annamalaiyar Temple in Tamil Nadu by Harikrishna Narla brings to the eye the details of the gopuram. 

Street art has evolved at rapid speed in India, with some even displaying socio-cultural messages. Lodhi Art District in Delhi is one of the areas at the forefront of the street art scene. Nijora Gohain finds a powerful image to share.

This image by Surbhi Saini makes use of textured fabrics to create a stunning frame of bright orange. The use of colour and textile to create shadows makes our heads turn. 

One of the biggest festivals in North India, Holi is a time for unfiltered celebration. Ankit Verma captures the essence of the festival of colours in Vrindavan. The enthusiasm and cheer are evident in the festive image.   

This picture makes us yearn for a road trip. The sombre colours in the frame make the location seem as though it is plucked out of a movie scene. Arun Pillai does a stand-up job with the aerial shot. 

City Palace in Udaipur has time and time again been photographed by those serving wanderlust. However, there is something about the interiors that one cannot stop admiring. Anoop Sudhakaran reveals a shot of the Zenana Mahal inside the palace.
