teamLab, Tokyo

This is one of the most famous immersive art-providing groups in the world. TeamLab have its headquarters at Tokyo and consists of a global group of artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, architects and mathematicians. TeamLab was founded by Toshiyuki Inoko and has art experiences in Shanghai, Tokyo and Macao. The group exhibits internationally, exploring the relationship between the self and the world through art.

Atelier des Lumi&egraveres, Paris

Atelier des Lumi&egraveres was a former foundry in Paris where Culturespaces, a specialist immersive art experiences foundation, held its first digital art museum in April 2018. Bruno Monnier founded Culturespaces in 1990, and their exhibitions include projected masterpieces from Leonardo da Vinci, Gustav Klimt, and Egon Schiele that attract a large audience. Besides their Paris venue, they now have a second base in South Korea&rsquos Jeju island.

Superblue, Miami

An art space that opened in 2021, Florida&rsquos Superblue is dedicated to producing, showing, and engaging the audience with experiential art. When it was launched, teamLab and James Turrell contributed with their art and installations, transforming an unused 50,000 square foot (4,645 square metres) industrial building into a vibrant culture and art centre. Turrell did a light-based Ganzfeld piece, while teamLab provided a transcendent digital experience.

Banksy Genius or Vandal, New York 

This exhibit was never recognised as authorised, but even so, it recreates some of Banksy&rsquos famous works. It comprises a VR experience and an animated Banksy doing graffiti paintings. An immersive experience with the recreation of the anonymous artist&rsquos studio from their film &ldquoEnter Through The Gift Shop&rdquo and many other authentic artworks.
