Divine Pleasures, a stunning exhibition of Rajput court miniatures, all dating to between the 16th and 19th centuries, is on display till September 12. The works owe to a four-decade-old labour of love by Steven M. Kossak, himself a former curator at the museum. The full panoply of Rajput court painting styles can be viewed here, from the Early Rajput Style to the later, more famous schools of Bundi, Kishangarh, Kota et al, as well as from the small courts of Punjab Chamba, Nurpur, Mankot, etc. See metmuseum.org.
