Tigerair of Singapore launches --pay to go, return for free-- promotion

Passengers bound for the merlion city can save up to 60 per cent flash sale on till today

Winter is a great time to visit Singapore, and to nudge passengers further in this direction, the nation state&rsquos no-frills airline Tigerair has launched a &lsquopay to go, return for free&rsquo promotion that promises air fare savings of up to 60 per cent. The flash sale is on till today, December 12. The promotion basically says that passengers need only pay for a one-way flight to Singapore and the return journey is free. However, airport taxes and other add-on charges would still apply for the return fare. Travellers can opt for journey dates from January 18 to March 30, 2015, and then again in summer, from July 1 to October 15. The promotion features all-in return fares to Singapore from Rs 7,299. Tigerair has 36 weekly flights to Singapore from five Indian destinations Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi and Tiruchirappalli. The airline also connects to Bali, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Perth, Taipei via Singapore. Tigerair was established in 2004, and flies to over 50 destinations across Asia Pacific countries.
