By 2018, train travel will be much more comfortable and hassle-free for differently abled passengers. Some 3,000 special bogies will be introduced by the Railways for 'divyangs' or persons with disabilities. To ensure that there's full ease of access, these bogies will be interlinked, will have special display signs for easy detection as well as more spacious seating arrangements. Apart from this, around 180 government buildings in Mumbai, Pune, Nasik and Nagpur will have disabled-friendly facilities like ramps and lifts for easier access. High time, we say
