In-flight iftar meals

OurTeam

During the holy month of Ramadan, Emirates has introduced a special iftar meal service. This service will follow the tradition and values of this religious occasion. Passengers on flights departing close to iftar, the meal with which Muslims break the Ramadan fast after the sunset prayers, will be provided small snack boxes at the boarding gates of Emirates Terminal 3 at the Dubai International Airport. A larger iftar meal will be served across all the classes. The snack boxes will contain a vegetable calzone, Namoura dessert, dates, water and a laban drink (similar to lassi). To calculate the correct timing for iftar while the plane is in the air, the pilot will inform the passengers of the timing.
