The Goa River Marathon, billed as the fifth best marathon in India, will begin from and end at the Sports Authority of Goa Ground (SAG Ground) or Chicalim Ground as it is locally called. The venue is less than 1km from Goa&rsquos Dabolim airport. The marathon is held over a scenic route, mostly along the Zuari River. Apart from the full marathon of 42km, the half-marathon of 21km and the 10km race, the Goa River Marathon also organizes a fun walk-run, the proceeds of which go to a supported charity. You can register (paid) by December 10, 2015. Last year, elite athletes from Ethopia, Kenya, France and Equador participated in the marathon.
