The Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) is organising an African Safari to Kenya from 1220 August 2017 (ex-Mumbai). Places to be visited are Samburu National Reserve, Aberdare National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park and Masai Mara National Reserve.

Samburu National Reserve has animals like the Oryx, Gerenuk or Giraffe Gazelle, Grevys Zebra, and Reticulated Giraffe unique to this park. A birdwatchers paradise, Aberdare National Park is part of the Aberdare Mountain Range in Central Kenya. It has moorlands, bamboo forest and rainforest at lower altitudes. There are some critically endangered species such as Mountain Bongo, Bushbuck, African Wild Dog, and Giant Forest Hog.

Situated in the famous Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru National Park attracts thousands of flamingos and pelicans. The forest around the lake is home to the critically endangered Eastern Black Rhinoceros and near threatened Southern White Rhinoceros.

At Masai Mara National Reserve, there is the thrill of watching the worlds largest land migration with around a million wildebeest and zebras making their way into Masai Mara from Serengeti. And more.
