Located in the United Arab Emirates,&nbspRas Al Khaimah is&nbspknown for its pristine beaches and undisturbed sand dunes. Under the golden desert sun lie memories of days before oil was struck and hints of Bedouin and Arabic cultures that haven&rsquot been engulfed by the passage of time. The city is known for the National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah which occupies a centuries-old fort.

Already the holder of several Guinness World Records for its legendary fireworks performances, Ras Al Khaimah is once again aiming to create a mesmerising New Year&rsquos Eve spectacle. And the event will aim at securing two GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS&trade.

Taking place along the stunning waterfront between Al Marjan Island and Al Hamra, it will be attempting to break the world record for the &lsquoMost Remote Operated Multirotors/Drones Launching Fireworks Simultaneously&rsquo, and set a new world record for the &lsquoLargest Aerial Sentence Formed by Multirotors/Drones&rsquo.

Set to last an impressive 12 minutes, the dramatic fireworks display promises awe-inspiring moments with a compelling drone show, and sensational pyrotechnics.

"We are thrilled to be attempting two GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS&trade for our #RAKNYE2023 celebrations," said&nbspRaki Phillips, Chief Executive Officer at Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority. "Known as the &lsquonature&rsquo Emirate, due to its unique topography, everything we do in Ras Al Khaimah is magical by nature and we look forward to welcoming visitors from across the world to experience this spectacular feat.&rdquo
