Madhya Pradesh, the heart of India, is a treasure trove any day. Be it cultural, religious, culinary or wildlife, Madhya Pradesh has so many things to offer to a discerning traveller. From tigers to gorgeous timeless monuments, the state has them all.

Now all these treasures will be showcased at a global travel meet in London.

The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board is all set to participate in the 43rd edition in one of the world&rsquos most prestigious travel-trade exhibitions, World Travel Market (WTM) London from 7th to 9th November 2022.

World Travel Market London is the market leading international travel event unlocking business opportunities for inbound and outbound tourism professionals. At WTM 2022, Madhya Pradesh will showcase its immense diversity which includes rural and agri-tourism projects, apart from wellness and spiritual tourism. The Tiger, Leopard, Ghariyal State of India has embraced Responsible Tourism as a mission with the aim to minimize the negative economic, environmental and social impact of tourism and to provide 360-degree experiences for tourists through increased participation of local people. Rural tourism is one of the key projects under this mission and is being implemented in 100 villages of Madhya Pradesh.

The Principal Secretary, Tourism and Culture department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, and Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Sheo Shekhar Shukla will grace the event.

The event's focal point is to promote tourism products and highlight the 17th Pravasi Bhartiya Divas (PBD) and Global Investors Meet, which will be held in Indore. A bi-annual event that brings together the global Indian diaspora to discuss matters of relevance to the community. Officials in Madhya Pradesh tourism said that the UK has a large population of Indian origin people and WTM will be used as a platform to reach out to the Indian diaspora as well as to all tourists interested in exploring the rich culture and heritage of central India.
