PANGONG TSO, LADAKH

With ice peaked hills below and stars covering the sky, it can be perfect location for photographers. The lake is around five hours from Leh. The perfect time to encounter a clear sky is during the months of April, May, September and October.  

RANN OF KUTCH, GUJARAT

The salty marsh land of Rann of Kutch in Gujarat would be a great place to get a glance of the glittering stars. The panoramic view at dusk when the moon starts to spread the light over the wilderness with all its glory is an iconic sight travellers admire. The months of November till February would be the appropriate period for the visitors to explore the sky in the Kutch.

Usually there is clear sky throughout the year, but visiting in the months of November to February would be better as the temperature drops and the place becomes easy to explore.
