As we explore new avenues of travel, many unique travel experiences have emerged, and stargazing is one of them. While searching for the perfect spots to stargaze, we generally stop by the Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh or the Indian Astronomical Observatory in Ladakh. However, these night wonders can also be witnessed in other parts of the country, with an equally enchanting experience. From Bihar to Andaman & Nicobar, here are some lesser-known destinations for stargazing.

Kodaikanal Solar Observatory, Tamil Nadu

Situated approximately 4 kilometres away from the town, at the southern tip of the Palani Hills, lies the Kodaikanal Solar Observatory, owned and operated by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics. Visitors to this location can partake in astronomy tours led by experts. Taregna, Bihar
