The 25th of January is a significant day for India, as it is marked as National Tourism Day, as designated by the Ministry of Tourism (MoT), Government of India (GoI). The day to celebrate our country's ongoing and potential tourism journey began under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the 75-week grand celebration launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to mark 75 years of India's independence. This day is celebrated with a motive to appreciate our country's beauty and spread awareness of the importance of tourism and its impact on the Indian economy.

Global Presence

It is well-known that India celebrates the UN World Tourism Day, on September 27, with cultural events, workshops, seminars, et al., all aimed at the promotion of tourism.
