This Gin and Tonic Day, give the classic G&ampT combo a creative makeover with these refreshing recipes. Traditionally made with gin, tonic water, and a lime wedge or slice, it&rsquos a drink world famous for its botanical and zesty flavors. Add garnish and elements according to your preferences and elevate this quintessential drink. 

Butterfly Decoded, Recipe by Avril Gonsalves, Head Mixologist, Butterfly High BKC and Thane 

Ingredients 60 ml Gin Fresh strawberry (5-6) Kaffir lime syrup Fresh kaffir leaves 5 ml simple syrup 

Method -muddle/shaken 

Gin Elderflower, Recipe by Mayur Mallik, Senior Mixologist, Maai Goa 

Ingredients Gin 60ml Elderflower syrup 15ml Fresh Basil leaves 3-4 Fresh Grapefruits 1 slice fresh orange 1 slice fresh pomegranate Fresh cucumber Fresh rose leaves Top up with tonic smoked star anise 

Method Stirred 

White blossom, Recipe by Ritesh Chaudhary, Bar Manager, Yazu Goa 

Ingredients 60 ml gin 30 ml elderflower syrup 30 ml fresh lime juice Top with Soda or Tonic Water (90 /120 ml) 

Method Shake all ingredients together and serve in a glass. Garnish with burnt rosemary along with some edible flowers 

Roku Spring Highball

Ingredients 35ml Roku 25ml Rhubarb Liqueur 90ml Hibiscus Tonic

Method Pour all the ingredients into the glass and build it up. Garnish with fresh rhubarb and a small flower. 

Botanical G&ampT

Ingredients 50ml Sipsmith London Dry Gin 1 pinch coarse sea salt 3 drops of orange blossom water Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic Water Sprig of rosemary (to garnish) Orange twist (to garnish)

Silly Sour, Recipe by Head Mixologist Latesh Kotian, Silly Khar 

Ingredients Bombay sapphire-60ml Rose water 15ml Fresh lime juice 10ml English cucumber 3-4 slices muddled Malaki Tonic water

Method Shake the ingredients in a glass and garnish with cucumber peel and rose petal 

Elderflower Spritzer, Recipe by Elephant & Co Goa Mixologist Akshay Sovani 

Ingredients 60 ml Bluepea Infused Bombay Sapphire gin 20 ml lime juice 15 ml Elderflower Syrup Tonic Water to top up. 

Method Shake all ingredients, except tonic water, in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a highball glass with ice. Top up with tonic water. Garnish with a flower.
