Copper Chimney, a popular pan-India restaurant chain, is offering a special deal for Christmas at its Chembur outlet in Mumbai. The offer marks the completion of 49 years of Copper Chimney in the industry.

The first restaurant was launched by JK Kapur in 1972 to showcase cuisine from the northern provinces of pre-partition India. Kapur had migrated to Bombay (now Mumbai) from Pakistan in 1947. According to the company website, the first restaurant was inaugurated by the veteran Indian actor (late) Dilip Kumar.

Patrons at the Chembur outlet will have the opportunity to dine on the legacy and signature dishes and also get a 49 percent discount on food and beverages. The offer is on till December 26, 2021.

Some of the special dishes include Chandni Chowk Chaat inspired from the streets of Old Delhi, Ab-e-Hayat - signature coconut flavoured soup, Kadak Roomali - a paper-thin bread roasted on an inverted &lsquotawa&rsquo and topped with masalas, Paneer Tikka,  Grilled Burrah Chops - marinated for over eight hours, Chelo Kabab, Rogan Josh - slow-cooked with as many as 21 spices in a special Kashmiri chilly spice-infused oil.

According to Brand Director Shikha Nath, &ldquoOwned by Charcoal Concepts, Copper Chimney&rsquos every detail, from our custom-made tandoors to our secret spice blends, makes the brand stand apart as a leader.&rdquo The restaurant has won the &lsquoBest Indian Restaurant Chain Award - West Region&rsquo in the 10th Restaurant India Awards 2021.

Copper Chimney is present across Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai and Kolkata in India, and in the United Kingdom, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates.
